Quotes from the children. 7/15/12

Mom, when you get mad you can say "Oh carrots." (mary)
I think you can say "Oh cheese." (Abe)

I think I told you this one- "I'm going to give the rest of my money to the poor." (Mary) Practically made Grandma Vonda cry.

I want God to come to Earth. (Abe)

I want to go back to Bangkok. (Abe)

I want to go to my house. Not my grandma's house. Or my other grandma's house. (Abe)

Playing with Esther's ginny pigs: "I don't like pigs. I don't want a pig. They don't have spikes on their mouths. (Abe)

Mary and Abe were watching a movie this evening. Mary got so scared. (Movie was called My Dog Spot.) Then she cried hysterically when she thought the dog died. It was very traumatic. When she got scared she couldn't get up from the chair and just yelled for me. We need to be careful of what they watch. I'm so glad we don't let them hang out much with older children. She is really sensitive. After the movie she kept asking why there were bad men who hurt the dog. And she kept telling me how it was such a bad movie. "I'll never hurt my dog mom, or Abe's." (Mary)

The best line of the night/week:
Giving Abe a hug tonight, "I don't like anyone. Just my daddy." (Abe)

"Popcorn for quite time!?!"
"Ouch. OFF. Get off my foot. Abe! Get off my foot. ABE!" (Me) "What you want me to do mommy?" (Abe)
"I'll play with you Abe." (Me) "No, I want a little kid to play with me."
"I love you Mary. I love you Abe." (And I love you most Dan.)
