Nothing new, though I may have spent all of our disposable income this month on Girl Scout cookies and cheese. (attributed to Derrick) Julie brought out a slew of American items. I enjoyed re-reading the children's quotes, most from this month, but my memory is a bit fuzzy. The last two months are a blur.
Mary, mis-singing the last line of the song "I Belong to the Church . . . ": "In truth I will complain!" She usually sings to herself, but was showing off Sunday during dinner. Particularly funny and true!
Sarah: "My maid already has dinner ready for tonight." The "my maid" part came out without any difficultly. :) She's finally acclimated! Derrick and Julie are in town for another week. I think they are really enjoying the trip. Derrick texted this to me: "Today, in the surreal life of Derrick, my brother's driver took me to see my brother's tailor." These last two comments reflect little on our daily life... please don't think we've become completely spoilt or surreal. :)
The rest are comments the children have made. Abe really is sweet, he just says the funniest things and is completely honest about his actions.
Sarah: Don't go in there.
Abe: I didn't! My head did.
Abe: I didn't! My head did.
Abe: (cough cough) Elie I could get you sick.
Honest Abe
Mary: You know what Abe did, he hit me with both hands like this, then he spit on me!
Abe (seriously): No. I spitted on her first.

Abe was over playing and I heard Elie crying so I went in and asked what happened and where it hurt. She told me on her elbow. So I kissed it better and Abe informed me, "But I hitted her all over."
On the way home from school I told Abe and Elie about leprechauns and treasure.
Elie: want to come to my house and see some lepers?
Abe: no. (pause) Only if there's tigers.

Mary made Dan's mom a beautiful card. She hugged her and said "Thanks for coming to play with me."
After seeing Mary, Abe made his own. Upon delivery he said "It says stay."
