I am thankful for hobbies.
I love projects. New and old. And like everyone else I know, I have more unfinished ones in a deep dark closet than I'd like to admit.
Three years ago Sarah started Craft Night. It was fun, three or four of us would tote our unfinished projects over or we would take turns choosing new ones. Then we moved to Bangkok and Sarah moved to Switzerland. So Sarah started International Craft Night. That wasn't as productive as the first. But then Sarah joined me in Bangkok and we're back! Between Sarah and my friend Dannii, they have got the most amazing craft morning going on. I love to see what others are in to. Where others excel, and learn new things. I love the excuse to see friends and talk about homes, make-overs, new hobbies and chill. My mind churns when I come home and I am anxious to finish things I started years ago. That should make Dan happy.
I love to spend the evenings while Dan is gone working on my stuff. I feel productive. The children are in bed, it is quiet, and I feel really good at something.
