Sparkles and Hogs

I love conference weekend, I mean week. The break from school also sets a different pace in our routine- Mary just got back from a run with Dan, Abe is still asleep, boardgames ran until 9pm and there was cereal for breakfast.

Incase you miss our daily presence, our highly intellectual dinner conversations bounce between nuclear reactions, particles and positrons(Abe), halloween costumes (Maeser) and how school could be improved if Unicorns were part of the staff (Scout).
The highlight of Mary's week was ice blocking for YW's: "It's sledding in the summer!"
With school out for Scout, she fell back into old routines playing with Moses and running errands with me. She fell asleep on her hand on the way to the Singaporean "Costco" and enthusiastically yelled, "Mom! There are sparkles in my fingers!"
We also hit the zoo. Deep thoughts from Moses, "Mom, are hog and hedgehog the same?"
