I am thankful for Abraham. No matter how rotten a four year-old deprived of sleep and expecting a hyped up birthday party is, I am still thankful for him. There were so many tears today. Gratefully none from me, but I am thankful that he is safely and soundly tucked in bed. He should have gone to bed hours ago.
I should be more positive and list the things I am thankful for. He is so kind to his brother. I am so glad they are friends, and hope they will always want to be together. He is loving and wants to be near people. He came home from school and said, "Mom, Ollie doesn't like it when I hold his hand." Well, if I wanted to play tag I wouldn't want to hold someone else's hand either. I love to watch him with Mary and Eliot. These two are his best friends. It makes me happy to think of the good influences he has around him. It makes the rotten days worth it.
Abe is so happy to be 4! I am glad that little things make him happy. I love to cook with Abe. Read books and color or play legos with him. I am thankful we have a couple hours together every afternoon.

Yay! He's finally four! Now Eliot can stop rubbing his face in it. At least for another 11 months.
Wait - how did I miss Abe's birthday??? I'm so sorry.
And yes, I'm stalking your blog cause I just found it on Sarah's.
