Been working on a few. My cousin and brother have been helping out.
These are the before and after pictures of the kitchen. It is such an improvement. Thanks guys!

Imagination

Mary pretends all the time now. Here she is playing her imaginary violin. (I can't wait til she's old enough to take lessons.)
And of course she pretends to be a princess, often. At night when we put our pajamas on she insists on wearing her pajama dress, and if you've seen her any other time she is never without a dress. Here she is with a cousin in matching nightgowns. It was a hit.

At last

First was Jasmine.

But the favorite was last, Aurora.

Even Moe enjoyed the princesses.

Princess Line

Lines

We waited in line to see the Disney Princesses for an hour and a half. I'll post the pictures tomorrow. But for now here are some of the wait.

Some of us didn't actually wait in line the whole time, we had snack time near by. But Mark, Derrick, Grandma and Abby did.

Abraham didn't mind waiting either.

Vacation

After and hour and a half in line to see the princesses, there were still smiles.
Dan and Abram. Both were good sports.
Amazingly both children took great naps in our awesome stroller!
One of the only pictures we got of Z with his fingers out of his mouth. He's really into pulling faces for the camera.
Sweet Elie. She never falls asleep while being held. Oddly enough she fell asleep during Pirates.

He's also trying to crawl, but most often it results in face plants.

Temple, a temple

M calls every large building a temple.

He's been quarantined.

Elder Robinson and his companion are now the only two elders in their district that haven't been escorted to M4, (the building where they are holding all sick missionaries). Might be a long stay at the MTC, don't think he'll get out by his original date.

Well, this race is only 3 weeks away. My position has changed for the 4th time. I hope it doesn't change again . . . or do I. I have a huge leg, 18.4 miles! Yikes. Well, I'm psyched! Or crazy . . . when you get up at 5 to run 7 miles before your husband goes to work it sure sounds that way.

Clafoutis

We started a subscription to the "Friend". It is awesome. Mary thinks it is so great that she gets something in a mail. A book even. When I told her it was hers she said, "Mines, mines?" We've browsed through it several times already and I love the Kitchen Krafts page. We've attempted to make Clafoutis ( kla-FOO-tee) three times now, and have it just about right. And Mary loves it. (Mostly the berry part, she isn't very patient when it is cooking.) I don't know why we didn't sign up earlier, I couldn't believe that she recognized something on every page of the magazine and had something to say about it. Honestly, if something like this shows you what kind of genius your child is and gives you recipes to make what are you waiting for?

Ducks

Grandma Skousen is raising a dozen ducks. Mary loves to chase them. I don't know that they like it as much as she does.


The ducks are really cool, and they are getting huge. I hope they stay mild and don't turn to bite her one of these days.

Haircut or no?

Dan was only gone over night, but when he tried to get ready for work the next day this was her reaction. It was really silly.
