Crawling!

Already! Actually an army crawl, but she can get to anything.

bit by bit

mary moves. she can turn, scoot, roll, inch forward with her toes, stretch, fall and walk with help (sometimes without help along the top of the couch). she picks her legs up so high when she walks. it is very cute. she loves her tongue. flubbing is her favorite form of communication; sometimes using it as a substituting for complaints or crys. mary is eating more baby food, but doesn't understand what it is for. most meal times are spent playing with spoons. she loves the swings at the park and will be content for 40 minutes as long as someone is pushing her. she is getting so big, and understanding so many little things.

A sad little girl.

Mary had a pretty rough weekend. Sunday morning she fell head first off our bed, and this morning she face planted off the couch. For those two moments I felt the guiltiest I've ever felt. It was so sad, and she is so small. Dan says she is spongy, and there don't seem to be any reverberations, just a sad little girl.

Mary's little tooth came in this morning!
We tried to take a picture of it, but her mouth is so sore she got upset. We'll send one as soon as we get one.

Mary spends a lot of time looking out the window. She feels so big standing at the back of the couch. She turns to laugh at us as if she just did a trick.
